The a4uAwards team would like to thank everyone for the great support received, ensuring the great success of the a4uAwards held last Thursday.

Members of affiliates4u can now cast their vote in the final round by visiting www.affiliates4u.com/awards - Voting closes at 3.00pm on Wednesday 28th May, and the winners will be announced on the evening of the Awards.
We are busy compiling together our judged awards for which we had well over 100 entries.
The judges will be considering these over the coming weeks and a shortlist will be announced a week before the event. For more information on attending this prestigious networking event, please visit www.a4uawards.com or give Claire Hoyland a call on 0117 972 3269 as places are now very limited and are expected to sell out shortly.
It was a busy 24 hours before the 1st May deadline for nominations and entries for the a4uAwards.
We received around 150% more nominations for the awards this year from members at affiliates4u.com which is fantastic! – a personal thanks to everyone who took the time to vote.
We will be auditing the nominations today and early next Tuesday (don’t forget Monday is a bank holiday here in the UK)
The top five nominations will be announced on Wednesday 7th May on this blog. At which time we will open the final round of multiple choice voting. The winners will be announced at the glittering award ceremony on the 5th June - We have a few places / tables remaining if you would like to attend but be quick.
Once again thank you for your nominations and support.
You have just 24 hours to both nominate in the first round of voting for the community choice awards and to submit your entries to our judged awards.
Remember the vertical awards can be entered by BOTH affiliates and merchants - so what are you waiting for
Entries are free and if you need any guidance give me a call on +44(0) 1179 723998.
To help those procrastinators out there we have extended the deadline for both the 1st round of voting for the publishers and community choice awards and the judged award submissions, until midday on Thursday 1st May 2008.
To remind you here is what you need to do to vote / enter:
1. Members of affiliates4u.com can vote here to nominate their winners for the publishers and community choice awards. Your signup demographic will show the awards you can vote for.
2. Members of affiliates4u.com can nominate individuals or companies for the ‘Affiliates4u Award for Excellence‘ another community choice award that does however require a testimonial type submission by a third party, an endorsement if you wish.
3. The judged awards, i.e Best Use of Creative, Best Network Innovation, Best Merchant Innovation etc require a one page summary stating why you feel you should win (templates are available for guidance)
What happens after 1st May?
We will total up the nominations for the publishers and community choice awards and release the top 5 for each category. Members of affiliates4u.com will then be able to make a final multiple choice preference for their winner. An overall winner and highly commended will then be announced on the 5th June.
The judged awards will be collated, uploaded online for the panel to digest and an overall winner and highly commended will be annonced on the 5th June.
The very best of luck to everyone who has chosen to enter. If you’ve not done so already you still have plenty of time to get recognised for your achievements.
Banners and buttons are available on the a4uAwards website to help spread the word about the awards to the wider community and to encourage your clients to vote for you.
Good Luck!
Matthew

Good Luck to everyone.
I came across this website, which may be helpful for those considering entering the a4uAwards, but not quite sure what an executive summary should look like.
http://www.rfp-templates.com/Executive-Summary-Template-and-Sample.html
an Executive Summary has basically nothing to do with product presentation, and everything to do with a persuasive sales pitch. It’s your unique opportunity to convince the reader that your product/service provides the best value proposition:
Hope this helps with your entries ![]()
A4uAwards, the perfect opportunity to shout about your achievement and success in Affiliate Marketing.
For your chance as an individual or company to be in for a shot to pick up an a4uAward at the ceremony on the 5th June, it couldn’t be easier just follow the below step by step instructions.
Step 1 Visit the award category page and select the awards you would like to enter
Step 2 Produce an Executive Summary – only one side of A4
If you are stuck for what to include within your executive summary, see the below tips:
• Your objective(s)
• What strategy / tactic’s did you implement to meet your objectives
• What results did you achieve for you, or your client?
• Conclusion - why was it a success?
If you are entering one of the vertical awards it’s imperative to get across what makes you a leader within your vertical.
You can also submit any supporting evidence you feel may support your entry.
Step 3 Complete your details here and upload your executive summary and any supporting evidence if you wish
Step 4 Wait for the phone call in May to say you have been short-listed
Step 5 Attend the a4uawards on the 5th June and proudly collect your award(s)
Good Luck!
